In 2010, Attack of the Mannequins headed to Los Angeles. There, they made some serious inroads into the notoriously tough L.A. scene, culminating in the band headlining the famous Viper Room on the Sunset Strip and also playing with Jet Boy at Bar Sinister.

The band returned home to Melbourne in May and capitalized on the momentum from Los Angeles by playing at local clubs and pubs to increasing crowd numbers. In September, the band recorded their debut single 'Fear and Self Loathing', an explosive track showcasing the bands Industrial Punk Rock sound.

Towards the end of the year, the band scored a support slot for Blondie at their only Australian club show (which was a sellout) and garnered rave reviews.

2011 saw the band supporting big name acts around Australia, including: Jimmy Barnes (to audiences of over 4000), The Baby Animals and Noiseworks. They also spent six gruelling months in the studio recording their debut album, Rage of the World, which is set for release later this year.

2012 looks like it’s shaping up to be a good year for Attack of the Mannequins.
